Metro Manila Pride is a labor of love. A very small group of committed volunteers keep the pride spirit alive all for the love of the community. But we need your help.
Pride has always been free to attend. We work hard to keep it this way because we believe that everybody should be able to enjoy this safe space. But this has involved shelling out our own money and even taking out personal loans just to keep Pride running. What little sponsorship we receive is always used to pay for debts and even taxes.
This year, we’ve exhausted all our options but we’re still coming up short.
We need your help, mga mahal.
What we need
While we have raised some money, it is not enough. But if 1,000 people donated P200 each, you would make sure we can rent Luneta Park; rent lights, a sound system, and a generator; feed all of our volunteers and performers; sponsor a deserving organization to come to Pride; and many other things that we need to run the Metro Manila Pride March and Festival.
If we raised more, you can even help Metro Manila Pride finally be a sustainable organization (this would be a dream come true).
We normally wouldn’t ask, but Metro Manila Pride needs you. Do you think you can help make the Pride March and Festival happen?
How you can help
If you’d like to help Pride happen, you can donate by depositing to the bank accounts below.
Any amount will go a long way and will be appreciated!
Please email us a scan/photo of your deposit slip or a screenshot of the bank transfer so that we can keep track of your donation. We’re thinking of ways to give you a small token in exchange for each donation. We’ll update this post when we figure something out!
We don’t have big sponsors. We aren’t backed by government funding. All we have is the love of our volunteers and the support of you, our community. Together, we’re sure that we’ll make this an awesome lablab-filled Pride March and Festival.
Thank you so much, mga mahal.
With much love and gratefulness,
Nicky H. Castillo & Loreen Ordoño
