Are you an LGBTQIA+ entrepreneur who is interested in selling to a captive audience of thousands? Or are you an ally who has a business that is LGBTQIA-friendly? Maybe you’re a community organization that wants to get the word out on the work that you do.
If you answered yes to any of these, you need to have a booth at the 2016 Proud Street Fair! Read on to find out more.
What is the Proud Street Fair?
On June 25, the 2016 Metro Manila Pride Festival will open at 2PM with the Proud Street Fair. This fair is a happy open marketplace where LGBTQIA -owned, -themed, and -friendly businesses will sell various merchandise to the thousands of Festival attendees.
There will also be booths from our community organizations who would like to sell their merchandise, promote the work that they do, recruit volunteers, or even just hang out with the crowd!
How much is the entrance fee?
There is no entrance fee! The 2016 Metro Manila Pride Festival including the Proud Street fair is open to all.
Who can apply?
The following may apply to get a booth at Proud Street:
LGBTQIA+ owned business
LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses
Businesses with LGBTQIA+ themed products
Researchers who might want to conduct surveys or studies
If none of the above apply to you but you would still like a chance at being considered, just send in your application!
How can I apply?
You can apply in four easy steps!

Fill out the form. Please check that you answered all required areas and that you entered the correct information. Failure to do so will delay your application.
Send the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also attach additional information about the company or product that you feel will help us assess your application. Deadline for submission of completed form is on June 17 at 5PM.
Wait for our feedback regarding the status of your application within 24-48 hours.
I got approved, what do I do now?
We will ask you to sign the Proud Street Fair contract and send it back to us along with a photo/screenshot of your payment for the booth. After these have been sent to us, we will be able to verify your status as 2016 Proud Street Fair Merchant.
I got rejected, why is this?
There are a variety of reasons why this could be. You might be selling items that are prohibited by the venue, your merchandise might be in direct competition with Metro Manila Pride merchandise (the proceeds of which go back into the organization), or your merchandise might promote ideas or values that violate our safe space. Whatever the reason is, we will let you know about it.
